In effort to support a lasting and rich working relationship, the following are our guidelines in practice:

Cancellation: 24 hour advance notice
We set aside this time just for you. Please offer at least 24 hours notice when rescheduling or canceling your session to avoid full payment of session. Exceptions of true emergency and illness are excusable and considered case-by-case.

Not showing for your session
If you forget or choose to forgo your appointment, you will be charged for the session.  Should this happen multiple times, we may ask you to pay for future session at time of booking or discontinue services.

Late Arrivals
To get the most out of your session, please be early or on time. If you're late, don't sweat it! The therapist will work with you to determine how to optimize the abbreviated session time. Payment for the session time you booked will be charged. If you arrive later than 30 minutes from start time, the session will be considered a "no show" and charged accordingly.

Illness
There are times when massage is contraindicated and could actually intensify and prolong your illness. If you feel like you may be getting sick or you have an active cold, flu, cough, sore throat, stomach virus, or anything contagious, please promptly reschedule your appointment.  If you've been sick and don't cancel until day of massage, you could be charged for missed session.  Please contact us promptly.

Payment
Payment is due at time of or before session.  Cash, check and Venmo payment are accepted.  If needed, Visa or Mastercard is accepted with convenience charge. Receipt is available upon request.

Strictly Non-sexual
All services are strictly professional and non-sexual in nature. Any overt or suggestive statements or actions will result in termination of session and the therapeutic relationship, and payment will be due in full. If necessary, law enforcement may be contacted.

Confidentiality
All verbal and written information provided will be kept strictly confidential, except where mandated by law.

Medical Treatment
Therapeutic massage is not intended to provide medical examination or diagnosis and shall not be considered to serve as a substitute for medical treatment. There are certain circumstances under which massage may be contraindicated and it may be necessary at times to refer you to a physician or another healthcare provider. It is your responsibility to provide accurate information on your health intake form and to inform your therapist of any updates to your health status.

Thank you for your consideration.
